3 Easy Cognac Cocktails To Mix This Season

Today is June 4th and it’s time to celebrate National Cognac Day. 


Cognac was named after a small town in France in which it’s produced. They also produce wine in this region, but today we’re all about good cognac cocktails. This is a delicate, fruity, and aged spirit that becomes the perfect drink at any party.

SIDECAR

Ingredients:

  • Cognac - 45ml / 1.5oz
  • Cointreau - 15ml / 0.5oz
  • Lemon juice - 15ml / 0.5z

Glass:

Coupe

Garnish:

Lemon peel

Method:

Shaken

Steps:

Add all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice shake well

Strain into a chilled coupe glass

Garnish with lemon peel (sugar rim optional).

 

COGNAC GOES TROPICAL

Ingredients:

  • Cognac - 60ml / 2oz
  • Orgeat syrup - 15ml / 0.5oz
  • Lemon juice - 15ml / 0.5z
  • Pineapple juice - 30ml

Glass:

Old fashioned 

Garnish:

Mint Sprig And lemon slice

Method:

Shaken

Steps:

Add all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice shake well

Strain into an ice filled old fashioned glass

Garnish with mint sprig and lemon slice.

PEACH ME NOW

Ingredients:

  • Cognac - 60ml / 2oz
  • Peach syrup - 15ml / 0.5oz
  • Lemon juice - 15ml / 0.5z
  • Orange juice - 30ml / 1oz
  • Ginger ale - 60ml / 2oz

Glass:

Collins

Garnish:

Orange peel

Method:

Build

Steps:

Add all the ingredients (except ginger ale) in a collins glass, add ice mix well

Top up with ginger ale and stir nicely

Garnish with orange peel.
